Unfortunately I thought the New Jersey location was better, isn’t that surprising?

The grill they use at the NJ location will actually char the meat you order, like the marinated short rib (galbi). They use the grill just like at all the local places, so it didn’t really wow me. The banchan was really good, they have the seasoned bean sprout one which is my childhood fav.

The staff was really nice when we requested to have 1 BBQ dish and 1 other dish, when the BBQ minimum is 2 dishes. Thanks for that ! Still spent $90 after tax and tip.

If ya have a car drive to NJ, but those bridge tolls add up…

The food and service here is great! We got the beef combos which came with the steamed egg and soft tofu stews. It was a lot of food and this spot definitely had us stuffed by the end. We also ordered the seafood pancake and it was very delicious. There were also a handful of banchans that came alongside the bbq and it was perfect. Our server was also very attentive and helped us grill all of the meats. Highly recommend this spot for your kbbq cravings!

곱창모듬 시켰는데, 염통, 곱창, 대창, 막창 전부 냄새 안났어요. 밑반찬도 다 맛있었어요. 조금 아쉬운건 막장 소스가 있었으면 더 맛있게 먹을 수 있을거같아요. 플러싱에서 곱창 먹는 곳 마다 다 냄새가 나서 못먹었는데, 여기는 아니라서 다행이었어요.

그리고 항정살, 삼겹살도 먹었는데 항정살 진짜 맛있었어요. 삼겹살도 두툼하고 최고였습니다.

Best Korean BBQ in Flushing:)! The service is fantastic. The servers are expert grillers and the meat quality is excellent as well. The side dishes and spicy soft tofu soup are delicious with the beef combo. I especially like the egg souffle that is fluffy and delightful as well as the potato side dish and broccoli banchan. The restaurant is spacious and the staff are always professional and friendly. I always get the beef combo which is a great value and comes with huge portions.

We went for the lunch special. Meal comes with traditional complimentary appetizers. The stone pot bibimbap was really delicious -- arrived sizzling and was still steaming hot halfway eaten, leaving divinely crunchy toasted rice at the bottom of the pot.

Came in to eat for an early dinner. Only one other table was seated. We waited for a while only to be told that after 3pm every table has to order two bbq meats. Which comes out to at least 100 dollars. It was only my wife and I with our one year old. We wanted a smaller portion of meat or to order sundubu or other dishes. They denied us this exception even though no one was there. They clearly didn’t want our service. There was no message about this 2 bbq meats rule anywhere on the menu or on their website. They didn’t even tell us this when we came in. The male waitstaff were really rude and nonplussed about wasting our time.

This place is the worst. Came here for my birthday and arrived to an empty restaurant. As me and my husband were looking at the menu, I asked if the $50+ dish of Galbi came in a smaller portion (assuming it was for two) since I was the only one planning to eat BBQ and my husband was going to order a non-BBQ dish. The server said it was for one person. $54 for one person lol. Then later, when we ordered, we both tried to order three non-BBQ dishes and he said it’s a two order minimum of BBQ and that we can order those dishes if we order two BBQ dishes. Hell no I’m not paying $100 for food I do not want. Since the server from the get go was rude and ignored us and made us wait about 10 minutes to tell him our order when there was only one other customer, I told him that was fine, we’ll leave. I’ve been to tons of Korean BBQ restaurants in NY, Hawaii, Seattle, and LA and I’ve never in my life heard of such nonsense. Nothing on the menu or their crappy website. I’m pretty sure they skew or fix their reviews to show good ones instead of the bad ones. Probably put fake reviews. Also, I’ve had way better banchan.

PS- we went to Daesung noodle restaurant instead after. It’s about 10 minute drive. Not a Korean BBQ spot but the best service and food is great there! It’s our go to spot and should have went there in the beginning. Go there instead 🙂
