I am a huge fan of the Flying Trapeze program at Circus Center. I showed up on a whim over a year ago (the intro 3-pack is a great deal!) and quickly became a regular. Now I am very sad if I have to go a whole week without flying. The staff are encouraging, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I’ve never been in better shape and have found so, so much joy here!

My son loves everything they do at this place and wants to be there every day. We started with a summer camp and now he's there 5+ days a week and part of the SF Youth Circus troupe. The coaches are wonderful with kids and great role models. The acrobatic training is more rigorous than we expected and has gotten him in great shape physically. Most importantly, he has found joy and a sense of community here. As a mom, I give it the very highest recommendation. Update 12/18/23: A year later, we still love this place!

Awesome place to unwind and try your limits. We were there for a birthday party and got to try the flying trapeze and some acrobatics, like balancing, mini trampoline and human pyramids. My muscles are still sore three days later, but we had a great time. The instructors were patient, informative, supportive and fun.
All in all, I will definitely be back for more at some point ?

Came here for a handstand class. instructor showed up 30-minutes late because she was searching for her lost glasses. for a while, the staff couldn't even find her.

the instructor was experienced and knew her stuff. just sucks that class started so late, especially considering the cost of a drop in class here.

the facility and building is also quite old and needs some TLC

I took a one-off class while visiting SF for work and this place is awesome! I love how it was converted from a high school, since it gives plenty of space for classes (also I loved tramping around a school). I took the intro to tumbling and mini trampoline and it was great - I'm feeling a lot more confident in my handstands now. Also the front desk is super nice!

A lot of interesting classes and instructors are experienced but the management is not professional. Late cancellation of class (within 2 hours) given students are already on the way. Instructors being late is not rare. If you charge late cancellation fee to students then you also should do the same if you cancel last minute.

I attended their $5 circus class and the donation-based drop in juggling session while visiting San Fransisco and both were SO fun. The instructors were so kind and excited which made learning new things even more fun.

I also couldn't believe how affordable the drop-ins were (remember: this is a real CIRCUS training facility, not someone's backyard setup – it's a luxury to participate in, prices SHOULD reflect that!) I'm more than happy to pay for the higher-priced classes, but I loved that this was a fun, accessible class lots of people could join!

Would highly recommend if you're looking for something fun to do in SF!

We went to see the circus cabaret with a friend who was taking classes there. It was so much fun, we were laughing and in awe of the abilities of the performers! And they have a new show each month! Check it out!
