After a day out in Los Angeles, we decided to dine at this restaurant, and it turned out to be a delightful culinary journey. We opted for the Hansang Jeongsik with LA Galbi, Kkotge Doenjang Jjigae, and Grilled Fish, accompanied by an array of delectable banchan (side dishes).

The LA Galbi was a revelation—perfectly grilled, tender, and infused with a savory marinade that made every bite a burst of flavor. The Kkotge Doenjang Jjigae (soybean paste stew with crab) was a standout dish, with a rich and robust broth that perfectly complemented the sweetness of the crab, creating a deeply satisfying flavor profile. The grilled fish was expertly cooked, with a crispy exterior and moist, flaky interior, complemented by a hint of lemon.

The variety of banchan included everything from crisp, fresh greens to pickled delicacies, each adding its unique taste and texture to the meal. Every dish was prepared with care and presented beautifully.

The ambiance of this restaurant is equally impressive. The interior is modern yet cozy, with ample natural light flooding through large windows. The clean, sleek design is enhanced by touches of rustic charm, such as the wooden elements and tastefully arranged décor. The dining area is spacious, providing both comfort and privacy for a relaxed dining experience.

Service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, patient, and eager to ensure we had everything we needed, contributing significantly to our pleasant dining experience.

1.We ordered Ribeye steak
and it didnt have good marbling so the steak wasnt juicy at all it was Choice grade.

2.I asked Minsu Kim if I really ordered right one and he answered "THE RIBYEY STEAK YOU ORDERED DOESNT HAVE MARBELING , you should have ordered "BOTTOM SIRLOIN(kkotsal)' if you wanted good marbling fatty steak. It doesnt make sense when we order $70~80 qood quality steak but all I got was Choice quality ribeye steak after paying $70~80 fir the low quality meat.
What are you going to say to me MINSU KIM? If we ordered Ribeye steak, then it means we have to put up with poor quality steak?
If you want good marbled,juicy steak then I would say this is not the place.

3.This place is so called high-end restaurant and we paid a little less than $200 for just lunch and we were willing to pay for more to enjoy more.
But the servers made me want to stop there.
They gave me poorest service I've seen in LA area.

4.When I asked them to remove Charcoal on our table, MR Siin said they dont remove fire on our table because that's their protocol. It doesnt make sense either. When we are done with our meal, we can ask for the servers to clean our table but he(Minsu Kim) said he wouldnt do that for us so I insisted for removing charcoal from our table. What kind of restsurants dont clean dangerous grilling tools after the customers are done with their meals.
This review is for the people who expect decent lunch or dinner experiences.

5.I hope everybody gets good services from them and good experience with them. Your Milage May Vary. You deserve to have good experience when you’re spending your time and money..

6. This restaurant doesnt have any superiors to talk to, so even when you're treated very bad, you just blow money in the air. Nobody has to be treated like this here.

1.꽃등심을 시켰는데 고기가 예상과는 달라 마블링이 많은 고기가 있냐고 물어봤습니나. Server 김민수씨는 우리가 시킨 꽃등심은.마블링이 없고 마블링 좋은 고기는 꽃살이라고 답했습니다.
제가 알고 있는 꽃등심의 정의가 파괴되는 경험입니다.

2.고기에 만족하지 않았으나 다른 메뉴를 즐기고 싶어 쭈꾸미볶음과 비빔냉면을 주문했고 냉면은 나눠먹고자 처음부터 추가그릇을 요청했지만 작은 국그릇이 나왔기에 다른 접시른 요청했습니다. 넁면을 자르는 가위요청시에는 벨을 누르라며 우리 테이블에 서비스하는 것에 대한 불쾌감을 보였습니다.그 이후 멕시칸 직원에게 기타 서비스를 받았습니다.

3.불판처리문제
앞서 설명한대로 고기품질에 대한 불만족으로 추가고기를 시키지 않기로 결정했기 때문에 화로를 빼 달라고 MR.시인(last name unknown)에게 요청했고 그의 대답은 ‘손님이 나가시면 불판을 빼드립니다 식사중에 불을 빼 드리지 않습니다’ 였고 이는 여느 식당의 원칙과도 맞지 않아 보입니다. 고기를 굽지 않는 테이블에서 화상의 가능성이 있는 차콜을 빼주지 않다니요.

두분이 서버였고 이분들의 서비스에 강한 불쾌감을 느꼈습니다. 그러나 이 식당에는 옳지 못한 응대를 바로잡을 상사가 있지 않습니다. 그러므로 이.식당을 가시는 분들께서는 서버의 잘못된 응대를 누군가 고쳐줄거라 기대하지 않으시는게 좋을것 같습니다.

BBQ is awesome, also the servers help you cook all the way, excellent service. Cold noodle I ordered is subpar, everything else is great.

After going to Seoul, we were on the hunt for good quality meat KBBQ. Though pricey the meat quality was good. However the service was not existent.

There were only 3-5 tables with guests at the restaurant. We waited for the server to take orders and he wouldn’t come back despite us wanting to put in more orders. He said they only have one person in the back grabbing food. Would have been nice if he checked in on the guests more since there was several other servers too and guests were trying to wave down the servers for orders. Very odd when the restaurant was practically empty.

We loved every food we ordered! My favorite is their tartare! When I visit Cali again I will definitely come back here. Their place looks so fancy and I love the kind of ambience they have in their. Service crew were all very nice.
