Recently picked up at 2024 Atlas. This was one of the best experiences I have had at a car dealership in a while. Chico made the process quick and easy. I did not sit around for 3-4 hours like most other dealerships do. They worked with me on pricing and had me in a new car in under 1.5 hours. I will be getting our next SUV from here again.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Volkswagen of Akron. The staff is always so helpful and kind. When I take my Tiguan in for service, I get to see a video of my car that shows the services that were done and lets me know what I might need to consider in the future.

We had been to 4 dealerships before this one and it was eerily dark and quiet inside. However we were met by a kind salesperson who didn’t wast any time getting us behind the wheel to experience the vehicle. He was friendly and had a positive attitude.

Great all around service. Chico made the buying process super smooth. After my purchase I had some tire issues at no fault to the dealer or VW. Emily in service was fantastic at addressing all my concerns and I never paid a dime.

Really disappointed in my experience here. Purchased a vehicle here I loved but my experience was ruined by the service department. Brought my car in to get the second key programmed (which took quite a long time as they ordered the incorrect key initially) and they scratched my car while there. Service manager claimed the scratch wasn’t there of course and did nothing to fix the wrongdoings of his employees. I would not have been upset if fault was accepted and they did the right thing and fixed my car but unfortunately that was not the case. Brushing up on basic customer service principles seems necessary here.

We were passing through Akron on a 10 day road (currently day 9) and got a low tire pressure alert: our second one in 2 days. The women noticed right away there was a nail in the tire and when we told them we were trying to get to a museum before it closed in Indiana, they said they would do everything they could to get us in and out super fast and boy did they deliver!!! 45 minutes for a patch but with a huge dollop of empathy, kindness, and humor from all three women in the main service room. I just feel bad I didn't get all their names (Emily was one of them) to be more specific about how awesome they were.

Be prepared to pay for any service issue even under warranty. I was lied to and my car was held for 5 hours then I was told to pay for the diagnostic fee and the 12% more for the rags they used to check the area of the car. They will make you pay for anything and everything. The service reps are rude and talk about people behind their backs and once you leave they make comments and laugh at you if you had any question or concern they didn't think was valued. The service manager pretends to care but is in it for the profit. A warranty means nothing to them and they won't check your codes without a diagnostic fee. FRAUD at it's finest! I will never go back there. AWFUL service and made up lies about what is wrong with the car just to be able to charge you instead of using the warranty. Not worth it unless your up for being scammed.
