Dr DeJong clearly has developed a god complex and is ridiculous. When he was diagnosing my wife, I simply tried to ask a question and he went on a rant about how well paid he is, how long he has been doing this, and how inexperienced the radiologist was. He didn't answer our questions in the least and got out of the room as fast as possible. For being as experienced and as knowledgeable as he claims, we left the room with the same level of consultation that the wall of the office could have given us. All we were left with was knowing what he thought it was not. I saw him myself years ago and had a great experience. It's clear that his best days are behind him at this point.

Terrible bedside manner. Spent 5 minutes with me, quickly reviewed my MRI, glanced at my need and said I didn’t need surgery. As he was running out the door I stopped him to ask some questions because I didn’t feel confident in some of what he said because there was no real explanation. Instead of sitting back down to address my concerns he proceeded to hover over me answering them and acting annoyed that I would question his opinion. Had a second opinion appointment with a different doctor who shared very different information about my injury and did in fact recommend surgery as the damage done could result in the injury occurring over and over. Lastly, I moved and of course changed my address. I was told at time of service insurance covered my appointment so I didn’t owe anything thus I wasn’t expecting a bill. Well I guess any and all bills must have gotten lost in the mail over the last 5 months because I was alerted today via email that the bill had been sent to collections. Why couldn’t an email have been sent to collect payment prior to going to collections if they had that information? And also why was I told I didn’t owe anything only to have a $334 bill show up after I met my insurance max out of pocket? It all just feels so shady. Just run far away from this doctor and his practice.

I was seem by Dr. Dejong a couple times for ongoing shoulder discomfort. He is highly professional, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. He gave me a couple shots for relief, which worked very timely and efficient. His staff is just as knowledgeable and professional...i would highly recommend Dr. Dejong he is Top Notch in health care

He is absolutely terrible. No time to answer questions, will only diagnose one issue per appointment and is not organized at all. I went to get his opinion on a new device and to look at my shoulder. He said he was running late and like to only treat one issue at time. He gave me his opinion on the device and wants me to make another appointment to look at my shoulder. His nurse is just as bad, she has no idea about anything. I would not recommend DeJong any longer to any one.

The Veteran's Affairs surgeon from Viera VA recommended Dr. Dejong to correct a labrum tear on my shoulder. This was my first major surgery, and the tear had been almost 2 years old by the time of surgery.
I was extremely nervous about having any surgeries done, but I'm glad I finally had my issue corrected.

Dr. DeJong performed above any expectation I had for a surgeon with his procedures and corrected my tear with minimum down time and fantastic post-operative care. I would not hesitate to utilize his services again if I ever need further surgery.

Dr. DeJong performed elbow surgery on July7 to remove bone spurs and clean up some arthritis. Back to the golf course in 3 weeks. first round a 79! He is on time, professional and his staff is excellent.

I took my 11 year old to Dr DeJong this morning and he is amazing! He spent an hour with us just explaining exactly what is going on in his knee. I would 100% refer him and he was referred to us by 2 friends yesterday and talking to other friends today they had nothing but great words about Dr DeJong and his incredible staff!!!!
