Overall taste of food was good BUT (yes there is a big but) Galbi was super burnt and my friend could not even eat them bc they taste nothing like galbi but burnt meat.
I wanted to order Kim chee fried rice but they said it will take more than 18 min so I changed my order.
I got the bibim box with spicy pork, they were good. Too much kimchi made a little salty taste after mixed them up.

When I moved to Portland in 2017, I wanted Korean comfort food, and I stumbled upon Kim Jong Grillin back when they were still at Cartopia. Ive experienced them at 3 different Portland neighborhoods, and now Happy Valley. Still provides me comfort many years later✨

This place was amazing!!! Totally recommend a visit. Food truck located in the downtown area. We split a Bimbox and a KJG hotdog. Both were amazing! If we had more time in town, we would have gone back!!

Delicious food and generous portion! I appreciated the friendly service. Atmosphere rating is low due to the fact that a DJ in the area made it hard to have much conversation. Tried the bibim box and it was so good. Chicken tasted fresh and the box was loaded with food!

Oh. Bibim box. I have never had one before. I kept seeing stuff online and I remember in February when there was an ice storm that this place was offering food to service workers. I thought "that's so sweet! I'll order, sometime" and I finally did it.

This was possibly one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. The steak was grilled and had a barbecued / char flavor. It was tender and there is a hot sauce on top. There's this delicious kimchi and then the japchae and rice below adds a really nice starchy and chewey texture to go with the crunchy kimchi and the beef.

Legit made me drool while I was eating it. The egg on top was soooo good to bring everything together. I could eat one of these every day for a long time and be a happy boy. Holy cow.

Also - massive portion. Easily 2 meals worth. Hefty box lol.

Cool and popular food cart on Division. Food was great and in generous portions. Would be nice to have the rice stir fried with the meat / sauce (just my opinion - probably not the correct way). Service was also outstanding.

Food was very tasty! Also quite fast. Name is hilarious! The owner/staff was very friendly and kind (reminded us that the bottom of the boxes are hot). The food truck area was not as nice as the midtown beer garden to sit down and eat though

insanely good food and great prices. i've had a lot of korean food in portland and this is definitely one of the better ones. the bibimbap bowls are packed and fantastic portions for the value. couldn't recommend it more
