Just an incredible physician and it shows - absolute straight shooter and his experience clearly speaks. Great bedside manner, very friendly and puts you at ease before explaining your situation and presenting options. Dr. Kim has faced spine issues himself so he completely understands your pain and is empathetic while he works out the best strategy for you long term, surgery or not. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat and see him again if I needed to.

Had an endoscopic laminectomy on July 25. Dr. Kim's extensive training and experience in this novel procedure was the reason I chose endoscopic. My initial post op didn't require pain meds which was quite a surprise. But most surprising was the rapid return to normal function. I was walking 20 miles a week within the first 1-2 weeks post op. Weeks 3-4 I was back to light workouts, and by weeks 6-8 I had resumed " controlled" racquet sports, smart weight training combined with a stretching regimen. I highly recommend this procedure if the diagnosis fits. Dr. Kim and surgical staff are exceptional and Hannah his PA and office provide top notch post op care and availability. 5 stars all day.

Went to Dr Yong Kim for an issue with sciatica pain. He looked at my MRI images and recommended a shot. After receiving the shot I was pain free 10 minutes later. That was 15 years ago and still going strong!!! I would recommend Dr Kim anytime to anyone!!

Dr.Kim is excellent, he give me my life back!
In January I had back surgery, right after every day i was getting worst.
I couldn’t walk more then 20 min a day, couldn’t seat i didn’t have a
life.
I found Dr. Kim. he perform my spinal fusion on June 2018, I’m getting better every day!
I will highly recommend Dr.Kim to anyone's!!!! , he is great, answered every question before my surgery.
Very knowledgeable he really cares about his patients!

I took my mother all the way to Queens to see this doctor because of all the positive reviews and our experience was the opposite. He talked to me for 5 mins, insinuated that my mothers pain was psychological, told me he could not do anything, and did not give me any guidance on what to do next. He just said I don’t know and left. He didn’t even thoroughly look at my moms medical history. It was a disappointing experience to say the least and I hope no one else gets treated this way.

Dr. Kim's office staff is deplorable they are not sympathetic to their referred patients needs. Google shows 5 star rating which the good doctor must have put there himself .In any event check yelp there are two reviews an that make total of three so two out of three is what?
